Jeff Davi
California Real Estate Commissioner

      

Jeffrey M. Davi was appointed the real estate commissioner of California by Governor Schwarzenegger in October 2004.  In this role, Davi serves the state’s real estate community by administering and enforcing real estate law with the mission of protecting the public in real estate transactions.
Prior to becoming California’s real estate commissioner, Davi was the owner and managing broker of A.G. Davi Ltd., the firm his father established in 1980.  In this role, he managed the daily operations of the agents and staff and oversaw all transactions. In 1993, Davi was named “REALTOR® of the Year” by his peers at the Monterey Board of REALTORS®.
 
Davi served twice as the state director of the California Association of REALTORS®, from 1994 to 1997 and from 2003 to 2004. His other experience includes service as president of the Economic Development Corporation of Monterey County, co-founder of the Affordable Housing Steering Council of Monterey County and a member of the board of directors of the Monterey County Visitor and Convention Bureau.  Davi holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from St. Mary's College.
